Sure, the sun’s coming out, and the flowers are blooming, but take the summer to spend time with your family and hit the course. You’ll only have one chance to watch the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club (in 2026).
World No. 1 and defending PGA champ Scottie Scheffler will be the player to beat at the second men’s major of the calendar year, and he’ll be up against Jordan Spieth’s latest attempt at a career Grand Slam and Rory McIlroy attempting to keep the good vibes afloat post Masters, and the hottest players on the PGA Tour in Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Young.
CBS, ESPN and PGA.com will be sharing the broadcasting duties. And there’ll be a whole host of bells and whistles, from the 125 cameras and 150 mics to CBS Sports’ live drones with shot-tracing capabilities, which your local muny most likely doesn’t have yet.
For those locked into traditional television broadcasts, ESPN will continue its “first tee to last putt coverage” of the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, along with weekend morning viewing for the third and fourth rounds. Then, CBS will complete Saturday and Sunday with the broadcasting duo of Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman. What else could you want?
CBS Sports will also be introducing a brand-new post-round “Scorecard” show, featuring the likes of Johnson Wagner, Shane Bacon, Hally Leadbetter, Roger Steele and Joe Musso. The comprehensive round-up will air immediately after all four rounds across CBS Sports HQ, Paramount+ and the Golf on CBS YouTube channel.
