The Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic is this week’s opposite-field tournament, or what the PGA Tour calls an additional event.
Unlike the main event this week, the Truist Championship, the Oneflight has a bigger field (123 players) and a cut (to the low 65 and ties). The winner earns $720,000 and a two-year PGA Tour exemption, so there’s definitely plenty at stake at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

That would be Aaron Rai, who’s posted scores of 65 and 67 and has it to 10 under, good for a one-shot lead over Brandt Snedeker. Rai is the highest-ranked player in the field but says he doesn’t feel anything special about that.
“Not at all. No matter what anyone’s world ranking is, whether you are Scottie Scheffler, No. 1, or a little lower down, there’s no divine right in golf,” he said. “Everyone starts at the same playing field on Thursday, and everyone who is in this field is good enough to win. No one has any rights to walk in and play well and compete.”

Sneds, who contended at the Valspar last month, is tied for second.
“It feels good. That’s why I do all the work at home,” Snedeker said. “It’s nice to be here, especially on a golf course I really like. I got to play here the last couple of years, and this golf course sets up for me. So excited to be here with a chance on the weekend. This is what you work for, so kind of turn the brain off tomorrow and go have some fun.”
The 2026 Presidents Cup captain for the U.S. squad is tied with Mark Hubbard at 9 under.
A little further down the leaderboard is Ryan Ruffels, who got into the field by winning an event made up of golf social media influencers. He is T-15 at 5 under, five shots off the pace at the halfway mark.
Just a shot back from that at 4 under is Brooks Koepka. He was just 1 under on Friday after a round of 70 that includes four birdies and three bogeys but he’s in the hunt for his first PGA Tour title since the 2023 PGA Championship.
Which notables missed the cut at Myrtle Beach?
The cut came in at 1 under and that meant an early trip home for a number of notable names.
There was a slew of golfers who missed the cut by a single shot, including 2016 Masters champ Danny Willett, 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Johnny Keefer, PGA Professional Tyler Collett and Adam Svensson, who was looking good after a Thursday 65 but he shot 75 Friday, a round that saw him go 2 over on his last three holes.
Other notables heading home include Rafael Campos (1 over), Harry Higgs (1 over) Haotong Li (1 over), Taylor Montgomery (2 over), Aaron Wise (4 over), Joel Dahmen (6 over). Wise also had a rough closing stretch, making bogey on six of his last 10 holes to shoot 79, a day after signing for 67.
