JOHNSTON, PA  — Fayetteville State moved to 15th place after Day Two of the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Regional on Friday, slipping from seventh place after Thursday’s opening round. The Broncos enter the final round with a team score of 596 (+36) through 36 holes.

In Friday’s action, Patricio Ramirez turned in Fayetteville State’s low round of the day, shooting a 74 (+4). Ramirez recorded four birdies on holes 4, 10, 16, and 18. Donald Barnett, who paced the Broncos in the opening round, followed with a 76 (+6) on Friday. Landon Cabingas also posted a 76 (+6) in Round 2.

Sutton Dreier finished the day with a 77 (+7), while Allan Terrazas carded an 81 (+11).

At the top of the team leaderboard through two rounds, Wheeling leads the field with a 574 (-4) total, followed by Gannon at 576 (-2). Pitt‑Johnstown and Charleston (WV) are tied for third at 581 (+1).

Fayetteville State will look to regroup and close the regional on a positive note in the final round on Saturday, with the Broncos scheduled to tee off at 9:10 a.m.
