Jon Rahm erased a five-shot PGA Championship deficit — then watched his major comeback drown on Quail Hollow’s 17th.
After leaving for LIV Golf, Rahm’s major record became the story. At the 2025 PGA Championship, he finally had Scottie Scheffler in reach. Then came the Green Mile: a bogey on 16, water on 17, and another major chance gone. Reuters reported Rahm finished T8 after a late bogey-double-double stretch, seven shots behind Scheffler.
