Alcohol Forum Ireland is hosting a charity golf classic in Donegal

Alcohol Forum Ireland is hosting a Charity Golf Classic at Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club later this month.

“The sun is out, the summer has officially begun and there is still time to register for our Charity Golf Classic that takes place on Friday, May 15 at Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club” said Paula Leonard, CEO of Alcohol Forum Ireland.

Alcohol Forum Ireland is one of three charities to benefit from North West 10k which took place on May 4 and while the hugely successful race is over, the fundraising will continue with this event.

“Within our own charity, the money raised will support children and families in Donegal who have been negatively impacted by alcohol and other drug use in the family. The impact on children, although often hidden, can be experienced as trauma and can have life-long impacts,” Ms Leonard said.

“There is still time to register for this event while supporting three local charities; Alcohol Forum Ireland, Autism Family Support and No Barriers Foundation.”

Alcohol Forum Ireland is hugely grateful to Kingsbridge Private Hospital which has come on Board as the key sponsor for the event.

Golfers participating in the event are in with a chance to win some amazing prizes, including a free round of golf for four people at some of the County’s most beautiful courses, including the Sandy Hills Links at Rosapenna Hotel and Golf Resort, Cruit Golf Club, Port Salon Golf Links and Gweedore Golf Club.
