Rickie Fowler is riding his hot streak into the PGA Championship.
After missing the Masters, Rickie Fowler is looking to bounce back in a major way during the 2026 season on the PGA Tour. The PGA Championship announced that Fowler is officially in the field for the major which tees off on May 14, 2026.
Amid the good news, Fowler took to social media to announce a new business collaboration as well. Fowler is partnering with Tropicana to find the perfect golf course cocktail.
The golfer posted a funny video of himself decked out in his signature orange searching for a new drink on the course. Fans are encouraged to submit their favorite cocktail recipe with orange juice as a key ingredient and the winner will receive an orange golf cart.
“Oh, hello internet. It’s Ricky Fowler. I’m here to address the speculation about my all-orange outfits lately,” Fowler said in the Instagram video posted on May 4. “Yes, it’s true. I’m an Orange Maxxer, and I’m proud of it. It means wearing orange, golfing orange, driving orange.
“And celebrating National Orange Juice Day with Tropicana. But there’s one thing I haven’t Orange Maxxed just yet. The perfect golf course cocktail.”

Fowler will also be competing at this week’s Truist Championship. The star is viewed as a long shot to win the tournament at +4000 in the golf odds, per FanDuel.
Fowler is coming off two straight top-10 finishes in his most recent tournaments. The golfer finished T9 at the Cadillac Championship and T8 in the RBC Heritage. Fowler already has three top-10 finishes in PGA Tour events in 2026.

“I remember the day Rickie asked me for orange pants, orange shirt, orange belt, orange hat and orange shoes. I asked him, ‘How are you going to style those pieces?’ He looked at me and said ‘Maybe I’ll wear them all at the same time.’ That is Rickie Fowler.”

During an interview with Kicks on SI’s Pat Benson, Fowler revealed his power rankings for colleges who have orange as part of their signature colors. Let’s just say Fowler is not a fan of Texas.
“Pretty simple. You can start with the bottom. That’d be Texas,” Fowler admitted in the May 4, interview. “They’re pretty far down there. Sorry to Jordan (Spieth), but that’s just how it is. They’re a little more closer to a brown in my eyes.
“So, Oklahoma State to me is basically just a pure orange. I was close to Tropicana as you’re going to get. And Tennessee, I’ll put them in the middle. They’re a little lighter shade.”
