Vanessa Trump made a major return to social media after her partner, golfing legend Tiger Woods, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence when he crashed his car in Florida on March 27.
The mother of five appeared in a post on her daughter Kai Trump’s Instagram on Monday, which saw her celebrating the 18-year-old’s upcoming move to Miami for university.
The budding golf star was joined by her friends and her mother for a “bed party”, a viral TikTok trend that sees a senior’s loved ones decorating their bed in their college’s merchandise and colors.

Kai is set to attend the University of Miami in August, which boasts the colors orange and green. The YouTuber kneeled on her bed in a green tank top, blue jeans and a white University of Miami cap, as Vanessa kneeled beside her, dressed in a white sweater and blue jeans.
Kai also took photos with her friends, who helped to decorate her bed ahead of her move. “Bed party SZN,” she wrote in the caption. The granddaughter of Donald Trump shared that she had made a verbal commitment to the university in 2024 and will be part of their elite golf team.
“I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can possibly be. I would like to thank my friends for always cheering me on,” she wrote on social media at the time.

Kai is incredibly close to her mom, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018 and shares her five children with him.
“I taught all my kids to play golf. I didn’t teach them personally, but I brought them to [play],” Vanessa said in a YouTube video. “I’m not a golfer, I was a tennis player,” she added. “[But] I do love Putt Putt. I just love putting. I spent a lot of time practising putting, and I do love golf.”

“It’s funny, though, because she’s actually beat me at putting a few times,” Kai chimed in.

Vanessa and Tiger announced their romance in March 2025 in a sweet social media statement. “Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” the athlete wrote on X.
A week after her partner’s arrest, she shared a snap of the pair to social media with the caption: “Love you.” Tiger will face court shortly over the charges. Vanessa was seen in public for the first time since his March arrest on Sunday at the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship in Miami with Kai by her side.
