FRISCO, Texas — Anniston Country Club, a private facility located in Anniston, Alabama, today announced PGA of America Golf Professional Kyle Carpenter as the General Manager and Director of Golf. ExecuSearch, powered by the PGA of America, a premium executive placement service for the golf industry, assisted with the search and placement.
Anniston Country Club is home to an 18-hole championship golf course, state of the art fitness center, racquet sports, pool and a host of family friendly amenities. In his new role, Carpenter is responsible for management of all club operations, including food and beverage, maintenance, merchandising, membership, racquet sports, social activities and all golf operations. Serving in a dual role as the Director of Golf, he will oversee golf instruction and player development programs for all levels.

A 2015 graduate of the PGA Golf Management program at Mississippi State University, Carpenter gained valuable experience serving in Assistant Golf Professional capacities from 2015-2020 at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Miss. This was followed by his role as the Head Golf Professional at Northwood Country Club, in Meridian, Miss., from 2020 through this recent transition.
An accomplished player and highly regarded coach, Carpenter was recognized as the 2019 Gulf States Section PGA Assistant Professional of the Year and Mississippi Chapter PGA Assistant Professional of the Year. Additionally, while serving as the Head Coach at Lamar High School, his golf teams captured the 2021-2025 MSAIS Golf State Championships, where he was also recognized as the 2021-2025 MSAIS Golf Coach of the Year.
