So did you leave Taylormade?
I do so much meticulous weird stuff with my specs I just build it all myself now. 1/2” increments until 6/7 iron then for the 6 it’s 1/4’ longer than 7 same with 5 which makes my 5 standard length instead of 1/2” over and I add lead tape to bring SW back up. Everything is based off 62.5/37.5. Taking ownership of your own specs is liberating and you know it’s all done correctly down to grip alignment and ferrule finishing.
Chris, I have new P790’s (6 through approach). After my fitting will you adjust these irons or suggest different clubs all together?
Hey Trottie! I’m waiting on some irons and wedges from TM, I had them custom made through the website. Will those specs be spot on vs off the rack? Or do I need to have them checked?
I’m going to set up an appointment. I built everything I play. I don have a de la Cruz machine and I would love to have my Callaway X forged vent a couple degrees weak to get them into some lofts. I’m more accustomed to they are made from S 20 C, Japanese forged beauties.
54 shouldnt be more upright than 58
I ordered takomo 101 mk2 irons recently and I saw that their gap wedge was 48°. They have stronger lofts on the 101 mk2 set. So when I got my wedges, I went with 54° and 60°. And its been working great so far
