About the NCAA DII Regional
Qualification to the NCAA East/Atlantic Regional Championship is granted to teams that finish the regular season ranked as one of the 10 best teams in their respective region. The East Region comprises teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and Northeast-10. The Atlantic Region includes teams from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, the Mountain East Conference, and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Each conference champion receives an automatic berth. The PSAC Championships are contested during the fall portion of the schedule. Also included in the field are the top four individuals whose team did not qualify.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional advance to the NCAA DII Men’s Golf National Championships, May 18–22, at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Nevada.
The remaining eight team berths are allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year’s head-to-head medal play portion of the championships. The maximum number of teams from a given region is capped at seven.
Regional tournaments are conducted at four sites in 2026, with regional pairings as follows:
