Golfshake Ambassador Matt Holbrook recently had the opportunity to see and test the new range, which he describes for us now: “I was extremely impressed with the full range that OGIO had on offer during the media day at Stoke Park.
“As someone who uses a carry bag (over a cart bag on a trolley) I thought it was best opting for the like for like to use as a comparison.
“Firstly, the design is great, not too overpowering but enough to make you stand out on the golf course. As far as carry bags go, this was definitely on the lighter side compared to those I have used before, making it a practical option too. Especially for those that might do a lot of travelling.
“I loved the dividers in the bag, giving me the option to group my woods and wedges together as I am not someone who just chucks clubs into his bag in any old fashion.
“I was also impressed with the pockets and compartments – something that I feel is sometimes overlooked when in the market for a bag. There is more than enough space for everything I like to carry, including spare balls!
“The adjustable straps are very comfortable and the added benefit of the 3-ball mount down the back of the bag might come in useful for some people.
“Another cool feature that I really liked was the green plastic part of the zip (it’s hard to explain in words!) but it’s made finding the zips and opening and closing pockets really easy – maybe something you don’t realise until you have it.
“Overall, I think OGIO have clearly cemented their place as a top tier bag manufacturer and got the design element spot on too.”
