Cameron Young won the Cadillac Championship in 2026’s most desirable golf shoes

Cameron Young is generally the kind of golfer who lets his play do most of the talking out on the course. And while his partnerships with FootJoy and Peter Millar ensure that he’s always well-turned out from a dress sense, he’s not one we associate with pushing the boundaries of golf fashion all that often.

As such, it caught more than a few by surprise that Young stepped out in some fashion-forward footwear over the weekend at the Cadillac Championship, taking to the tee at Trump Doral in FootJoy’s much sought-after shoe collaboration with New York fashion label Aimé Leon Dore.

The latest in a growing line of collaborations from the streetwear imprint and FootJoy, the shoes once again revise the classic silhouette of the Premiere Series Marquis shoe with additional luxury touches, replacing the standard full-grain leather upper with a croc skin-style embossed pattern in a shiny black patent finish.

While you’d be tempted to think that the shoes are all style and no substance, the updated Premiere features all the new performance hallmarks FootJoy has engineered into the 2026 version of the Premiere. Under foot, the midsole has been lightened and a new ARCTrax outsole platform (also seen on the new Pro/SL spikeless shoe) introduced to provide more targeted traction and stability.

The new Premiere forms the footwear component of what is a larger expansion into golfwear by Aimé Leon Dore. Last week, the label revealed its first dedicated golf collection combining technical outerwear, luxurious knitwear and staples like polo shirts and trousers.
