ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Augustana women’s golf team closed out day one of the NCAA Central Regional in 17th with a stroke count of 332. Joey Koth leads the Vikings in 45th after she collected a round of 81.

How it Happened


Koth leads the Vikings in a tie for 45th after she secured a round of 81. She garnered a front-nine score of 43 before a strong back nine of 38. Koth tallied a birdie on hole 11. 
Lanie Veenendall sits behind Koth in a tie for 60th with a stroke count of 82. Veenendall compiled nine pars throughout the day. 
Payton Drefke finished round one with a stroke count of 84 with a front nine score of 38. Drefke sits in a tie for 70th. 
Anna Eckmann finished one stroke behind Drefke with a score of 85. She secured nine pars on the day.
Hanna Knoop rounded out the Vikings in a tie for 90th after she scored a round of 88.
