2026 MAC Men’s Golf Championship – Round 2 Results



ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Northern Illinois University men’s golf team remains in third place after the second round at the 2026 Mid-American Conference Men’s Golf Championship, posting a team score of +12 296 on Monday at The Club at Holliday Farms. 
 
Patrick Raupp (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) entered the day leading the tournament and will head into Tuesday’s final round tied for the lead at even par with Eastern Michigan’s Joshua Hess. The sophomore played the front nine under par for the second straight day, moving to three-under par for the tournament. After a triple bogey on the 10th, Raupp made par on each of the last eight holes to finish with a round of 73. He scored par on 14 of the 18 holes on Monday. Raupp is the first NIU men’s golfer since Joo-Young Lee in 2016 to be atop the MAC Championship leaderboard after two days of competition.
 
Sophomore Beau Petersen (Gretna, Neb./Gretna) posted NIU’s lowest round on Monday with a one-under par 70, an eight-stroke improvement from the first round. After starting his round with back-to-back bogeys on the second and third holes, Petersen got back to even on the day with consecutive birdies on six and seven. He moved to two-under with birdies on 13 and 14. Petersen bogeyed the 16th hole to move back to one-under for the day after playing 12 straight holes without one. He moved up 17 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 10th at six-over par.
 
Devin Swoyer (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) and Conner McCall (Vandalia, Ill./Vandalia) rounded out NIU’s scoring group on Monday. Swoyer posted a round of 76 as McCall carded a six-over 77. 
 
NIU improved by one stroke as a team on Monday, finishing the day with a team score of 12-over par 296. The Huskies go to Tuesday’s final round at +25, 10 strokes ahead of fourth place Central Michigan. Eastern Michigan leads the team race at +16 with Miami one shot back.
 
Tuesday’s final round will start at 8 a.m. CT.
