BLAINE, Minn. (Valley News Live) – Scottie Scheffler, the world’s number one golfer and four-time major champion, will compete in the 3M Open.
The event runs July 20-26 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine. It will be Scheffler’s first appearance at Minnesota’s only PGA Tour event.
The tournament confirmed the announcement on social media and in a press release on its website.
The 3M Open debuted in 2019 and supports local initiatives across Minnesota through the 3M Open Fund.

“Scottie’s commitment to the 3M Open is a milestone for this tournament and our partnership with the PGA Tour,” said Kady Stoll, vice president of partnerships at 3M. “His participation reflects the experience we want to deliver for fans, players and the communities we support.”
Scheffler is coming off a runner-up finish at the Cadillac Championship over the weekend.
