New to pickle. Can someone explain why the level of pickleball here is lower than PPA? Why aren’t the pros at PPA playing here? Less prize money? Mandatory # of games in their contracts?

ALW's team has much higher DUPR but they almost lost the game. I guess their DUPR is a bit inflated.

Jay D was feeling the pressure of knowing that he was playing w/a GOAT (ALW). He should have been better prepared mentally/emotionally for that experience. In the end, he got the job done; but may want to invest in a sports psychologist for a few weeks to get his head (heart) straight for future play. Jay D is good for game. We need more players with cool names like The Flying Dutchman!
Sofia is going to be a monster on the PPA tour next year. ALW knows it
APP best v. ALW + 1/2 Player in Jay. That was fun and frustrating how many mistakes Jay was making. Sofia is decent but it’s pretty telling she signed back with the APP instead of becoming a mediocre player in the PPA. Is she better than Jorja, Tyra, AB, Fahey, Buckner? Nope. Aussie girls the best in Asia can’t get past round of 16. Sofia and this nobody Diamond’s piss poor attitude calling Jay whoever… what a petty loser.
The PPA commentators could learn something from these guys.
