Vanessa Trump was seen attending the Cadillac Championship alongside her daughter, Kai Trump, and President Donald Trump, marking her first public outing since Tiger Woods’ two-vehicle rollover collision and DUI arrest.
On Sunday, Vanessa kept a low profile as she arrived at Trump National Doral Miami for the final round of the Signature PGA Tour event. The 48-year-old, along with daughter Kai, joined the president in a suite overlooking the Blue Monster course around 12:15 p.m. ET, though Woods was conspicuously absent from the family gathering.
Following Woods’ accident in March, rumors have swirled about possible tension in his relationship with Vanessa. However, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. quickly shut down any speculation of relationship issues.
On social media, Vanessa shared a photo to her Instagram Story depicting herself and Woods in an embrace while relaxing in a hammock, adding two red heart emojis and the caption: “Love you.”
Woods was taken into custody and brought to a police station on March 27, where he was processed on three misdemeanor charges: DUI, property damage, and refusing to submit to a urine test. He also received a non-criminal citation for careless driving resulting in a crash.

The collision happened at approximately 2 p.m. ET while Woods was driving northbound on a two-lane road near his Jupiter, Florida, home. A pickup truck pulling a pressure cleaner trailer was attempting to decelerate and turn into a driveway when the crash took place. Local Sheriff John Budensiek stated that Woods, operating a Range Rover, was driving at dangerously high speed, which prevented the pickup truck driver from fully clearing the roadway.
In an effort to avoid hitting the truck, the 15-time major champion struck the trailer, causing his vehicle to overturn onto its side. Woods was then detained for the required eight-hour holding period before a close friend was permitted to post bail for him at around 11 p.m. local time.
When Woods arrived home from the Martin County Public Safety Complex, Vanessa reportedly ensured she was awake to meet him at the entrance. According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, she didn’t conceal her displeasure with her boyfriend and his unpredictable conduct.
“She’s not happy at all,” the source claimed. “She’s both disappointed and a little bit p—–, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag. And she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out, and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”
A separate insider claimed the pair “argued all weekend,” with Vanessa growing more exasperated by Woods’ repeated claims that he had everything managed.
“She has gone from concern to anger,” the insider said. “She was like, ‘Let’s solve this together’ and his response was basically, ‘Yeah yeah yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control.’ And she’s like, ‘It is so obviously not under control.'” While the former insider refrained from calling the discussion an “ultimatum,” they indicated that Vanessa made it evident to Woods she was ready to walk away unless he addressed his issues.
“This is a concerned girlfriend expressing boundaries and saying that he’s got to get his s— together, like right now,” the source continued.
“He’s very apologetic, from what I’ve heard. [He] wants to fix this. He’s embarrassed, he’s mortified at all this… and this is really humiliating for it to happen again. And Vanessa is embarrassed too. All her friends are like, ‘Girl, what the hell?'”
A judge in Florida granted Woods permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. His private gulfstream jet was later spotted touching down in Zurich, Switzerland, with reports indicating he’s participating in a 90-day physical and psychological treatment program.
