Cadillac Championship: Ryan Fox finishes strong for another top 30 on PGA Tour

Ryan Fox saved his best for the final round of the Cadillac Championship to earn another top-30 finish on the PGA Tour this season.

Fox carded a four-under 68 at Trump National Doral with five birdies across the day – his only blemish coming at the last hole, the par-three
ninth. The final round was moved forward with groups of three, including rounds starting on the 10th hole, with thunderstorms expected in Miami.

Fox finished at five-under in a share of 30th place, with the leaders still on the course. The Kiwi will take home around US$143,000 ($242,000) after just missing out on a sixth top-25 finish this season.

Players Championship winner Cameron Young won by six shots ahead of world no 2 Scottie Scheffler.

On the DP World Cup, Kazuma Kobori finished in a share of 13th at the Turkish Open after starting the day a shot off the lead. Kobori dropped down the leaderboard with a two-over 74. Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg won the event with a final-round 69 to finish two shots clear at 10-under.
