WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals remained in fifth place out of eight teams after the second round of the 2026 NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship at Taconic Golf Club on Saturday, May 2.
Nationally ranked No. 13 Hamilton recorded a four-person team score of 310, which was 13 shots better than Friday’s first round, on the 5,826-yard layout. The Continentals were at 633 after 36 holes while Middlebury College was still in the lead at 596.
Shanya Arasu ’28 fired a 3-over-par 74 on Saturday for Hamilton’s best round of the weekend so far. Arasu was even on the back nine with a 36 thanks in part to birdies on the 10th and 15th holes. She also birdied the fifth hole. The 74 tied her best round this spring and she was tied for 15th place out of 39 golfers at 156.
Kiran Bagga ’29 birdied the 18th hole and wrapped up a round of 77. Bagga posted the Continentals’ best score of the day on the front nine with a 37.
Keira Joshi ’27, who shot 79, also ended her round on a high note with a birdie on No. 18. Aubrey Lee ’28 followed up her team-best 78 on Friday with an 80 in the second round. Peyton Sichol ’26 made birdie on the first and 15th holes and ended up with an 81.
Hamilton players start teeing off at 9 a.m. in the third and final round of the championship on Sunday, May 3.
