Kutztown, Pa. (May 2, 2026) – Alvernia University’s Grace Spielman led the Golden Wolves on day one of the 2026 MAC Women’s Golf Championships at Berkleigh Golf Club Saturday.
The Golden Wolves posted a team score of 391 and are in fourth place.
Grace Spielman led the way for Alvernia in round one with a nine over round of 81. Spielman carded a four over 39 on the front nine with four pars and a birdie at the par five fifth. Spielman then posted a 42 on the back with four more pars en route to the round of 81. Spielman is in third place heading into Sunday.
Rylee Stenzel posted a round of 84 on Saturday and is currently in a tie for sixth place. Stenzel carded a 44 on the front nine with just one par but she bounced back and carded a three over 40 on the back nine with seven pars en route to the round of 84.
Cassidy Miksich also carded a round one score of 84 and is in a tie for sixth place. Miksich tallied a five over 40 on the front nine with five pars and carded a 44 on the back nine with four more pars to post a round one score of 84.
Caroline Martin rounded out the Golden Wolves with a round of 142 and in 47th place after round one.
The Golden Wolves are back at it tomorrow for round two of the 2026 MAC Women’s Golf Championships at Berkleigh Golf Club. Tee times start at 10:00 AM on Sunday.
