High school girls golf: 3A region recaps 2026, Morgan, Union, Richfield claim region titles – Deseret News

The 3A girls golf regular season came to a close this past week, with the focus now shifting to Stansbury Park Golf Course next Wednesday and Thursday for the 3A state tournament.

Morgan, Union and Richfield won their respective region championships and will each be in the hunt for the 3A state title.

Juan Diego won last year’s 3A state title, but the Soaring Eagle are competing in 4A this year. Prior to Juan Diego’s title, Richfield had won five of the past six 3A state championships.

Morgan had the best scoring average in 3A this year at 338, followed by Richfiedl with 353 and then Union with a 369.

The low golfers in each 3A region were Morgan’s Taya Snow (78.5), Union’s Avery Rasmussen (87.2) and Richfield’s Hailey Hair (84.8).

None of the top seven finishers from last year’s 3A state tournament are back this year whether because of graduation or realignment, which should make for a unpredictable state tournament with new faces at the top of the leaderboard.

Here’s a look at the final region results from all three 3A regions.
