The 2026 Cadillac Championship is headed to the weekend at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster Course in Miami, Florida. All 72 players will finish out the week as this is one of five signature events on the PGA Tour’s schedule that does not feature a 36-hole cut.
Cameron Young is cruising so far, going 13 under over the first two days to take a commanding five-shot lead. But there’s one other player who the golf world will certainly have its eyes on this weekend, and that’s Jordan Spieth, who sits in a tie for second at 8 under entering Saturday’s action as he seeks his first win in four years.

Cameron Young’s lead shrinks to 3 early Saturday
Cameron Young made bogey at the par-5 first after hitting his second shot in the water, dropping to 12 under. At the same time, Nick Taylor made birdie at No. 1 while Jordan Spieth birdied No. 2. Those two are now in a tie for second at 9 under as of 2 p.m. ET.

Scottie Scheffler gets third round underway at Cadillac Championship
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler made headlines Friday when it was revealed that he won’t be in the field for next week’s PGA Tour signature event, the Truist Championship. But he is in the field this week at Doral, and he began his third round with a birdie at the first and a bogey at the second. He’s even par through four holes Saturday and sits at 6 under for the tournament, in a tie for 10th as of 1:40 p.m. ET.

Justin Thomas made eagle at the par-5 first to start his third round, and he’s 5 under on the par 5s Saturday. Unfortunately for him, he also has two bogeys and a double-bogey on his scorecard through 12 holes.

Where are they playing the 2026 Cadillac Championship?
The PGA Tour is back at the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral for the first time since 2016 when the tournament was called the World Golf Championships – Cadillac Championship. The golf course is ranked 10th in Florida on the latest Golfweek’s Best 2025: Top public-access golf courses list. It’s a par 72 that will play 7,739 yards this week. It was originally designed by Dick Wilson in 1962. In 2014, Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner renovated the layout. The Blue Monster will host the PGA Tour for a 56th time in 2026. It’s one of nine current courses with more than 50 years of competition on the circuit.
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson share the mark of 19 under, with Lefty doing it in 2009 and Tiger matching him in 2013. Tiger won there four times in all.
How much money is on the line at the Blue Monster?
The total prize fund is $20 million, as it is at the other eight signature events in 2026, with the winner adding $3.6 million (before taxes) to his bank account.
