The Chadron High boys golf team was at Scottsbluff Country Club Friday to wrap up the week with the Scottsbluff Invite. The Cardinals could not quite muster the scores from Thursday at the drastically different Scottsbluff Country Club with Tobin Meyer and Brayden Linegar topped the board for Chadron with a 90 to slot in at 19th and 20th overall in the tournament.
Carson Long was next on the leaderboard for Chadron, shooting a 97 to finish 30th. Kade Rasmussen and Mason Frye rounded out the lineup for the Cardinals with Rasmussen landing in 32nd with a 98 and Frye with a 107 came in 35th.
As a team the Cardinals fired a 375 to come home seventh, one shot behind Alliance.
Next up for the Cardinals golf team is the Gering Invite on Wednesday.
