Scottie Scheffler SHUTS DOWN LIV GOLFERS Return Question! 🚫🏌️‍♂️

Scottie Scheffler expertly dodges an ill-timed LIV Golf question!

At the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler made it clear where his priorities lie. After a first-round 71, Scheffler was asked about the future of the game and the potential return of LIV golfers following reports that Saudi Arabia’s PIF funding could end after 2026.

Scheffler’s response was blunt: “I just got off the golf course. I don’t know what you want from me,” he said with a chuckle, refusing to engage in the debate.

In this video, we break down:

Scheffler’s dismissive reaction to the LIV/PGA merger noise.

The bombshell news regarding LIV Golf’s funding withdrawal at the end of 2026.

What this means for the “Returning Member Program” and the future of pro golf.

Is Scottie right to stay out of the drama, or should the top players be leading the conversation? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Scottie will never go wrong just being honest. Ask him a good question, he will give a thoughtful, detailed answer. Ask him something dumb, he'll immediately let you know. This wasn't a bad question in itself. It's going to come up and it's going to come up a lot, so the players are going to have to get used to it. There's a time and a place and this wasn't it.

  2. They don't want to talk about LIV what happens happens. Not in their control. Why I hate the news and reporters they are not reporters anymore. They have an agenda what ever that may be.

  3. “I don’t know what you want from me” 😆 very accurate answer right there. The media is just begging for content, I wish there weren’t so many “reporters”

  4. They should absolutely stop the required media post round and leave the media post round only for the winner at the end of the tournament. I'm not sure who this is for other than trying to suck a player into saying something in a post round emotionally fragile moment to get click headlines. I don't know of anyone who cares about this stuff.

  5. As incredible of a player as he is, he has no respect from anyone in the press, he is rude all the time and all the reporters know what to expect, he is very unpleasant to deal with, those are the words of reporters not mine!!!!!!!

  6. This is a microcosm of media as a whole. The second you take some "partisan" position and report accordingly, you lose credibility and the reporting suffers because of it.

  7. Having to answer the same stupid questions over and over again from a bunch of guys that couldn’t make the JV squad at anything…… would be absolutely unbearable

  8. The guys in LIV made their decision and they should have to deal with it.
I don’t like the idea of them coming right back because what they did could have been very damaging to the PGA.

  9. Scottie has some mental issues. At times, he seems very composed, but he has flare ups on the course and with reporters that shows that he is a spoiled brat. His response to the LIV question was ridiculous, arrogant, and gross. It is the biggest news item facing the tour right now, yet he couldn't take the time over the last week or so to come up with a good answer that would be able to keep him from telling his real opinion. That is lazy. So, he decides to embarrass the guy asking the question. There are serious flaws under the hood of this car. This is what happens when you have blind faith like he does. It was drilled into him by his parents. He realizes now that not thinking for yourself, and having faith for everything, may not be the path forward, but he is in too deep. Scottie, what's the point Scheffler, shows his true colors often.

  10. It should be required that reporters who are going to interview golfers and write about golf should themselves, be golfers !
A golfer would not ask another golfer “ you were playing well, how did you fall apart . “

  11. Stupid question, the PGA and DP tours have management organisations who will deal with this, stop asking individual players their thoughts.

  12. That answer was loud and clear. Make them suffer to come back. Albeit Scotty would never actually say that. Huge fines and a 2 year suspension. Tilly Phil banned for life. He actively recruited players to defect while he was still a PGA member. He made his liv money, now just do golf a favor and disappear.

  13. What an asshole. I try to like him. His arrogance is increasing. Everyone is focused on LIV right now. Surely he understands that. But I guess he dieant care. Contrast his answer with the same question to Spieth. Tells you alot.

  14. Pretty weird question to ask right after his round. Seems like a question to ask on the presser he does leading up to the tournament

  15. It's so funny reading this crap about LIV players being greedy. As if they were in a similar situation and turned it down. A golfer is a private contractor. They can play when and where they want. Just like Europeans leaving DP, moving here and playing the PGA tour. As a matter of fact, because of LIV, the PGA raised purses. What about the PGA players accepting appearance money to play select tournaments overseas? Greedy bastards. While golf is many times deemed an elitist sport. The fans can be just as bad. Comical.
