MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Golfers teed off Friday in the 32nd annual Little Sisters of the Poor golf tournament.
The event raises fund in support of residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor home in Mobile. Participants enjoyed a tournament, lunch and prizes.
Dr. David Bronner, CEO of the Retirement Systems of Alabama, said the tournament helps keep the Little Sisters of the Poor operating.
Golfers united on the course in support of the Little Sisters of the Poor, a Catholic women’s religious order which serves the elderly poor.
