Women’s Golf: Five Things to Know Ahead of NCAA Central Regionals

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women’s golf team hits the road next weekend for the NCAA Central Regionals in St. Joseph, Missouri. The three-day post-season tournament runs from Monday, May 4, through Wednesday, May 6. The Vikings are one of five NSIC teams competing in the Central Region. 

The Vikings

Augustana finished in seventh place in the NSIC Tournament last week with a stroke count of 979. The Vikings have competed in 10 events and have secured four top-three finishes. Lanie Veenendall, Anna Eckmann and Payton Drefke have all earned weekly awards this season. Veenendall was named the NSIC Outstanding Senior of the Year for women’s golf.
