  16. Can we just normalize not apologizing when balls hit net cords and affect a point. Sometimes you benefit, sometimes you don’t, but it’s just part of the game.

  19. The accuracy of Sinner's shots is just like RF's. Jodar really shows a bright future as long as he recognizes his weaknesses and corrects it, he gets a great coach and gets minimal injuries.

  24. fils will beat easily this average version of sinner who played his C game to beat a guy his mother doesn't know in this most weak era in which an 100 years old nole is still among the top players as all the rest are beep weak players excluding only sinner and carlos.

  25. 2:58 is great tennis. Sinner is trying to stay away from the forehand and fishing for an attackable ball. He runs around his backhand and hits a deep ball but probably not as sharp as he’d like. Jodar sees an opening and blasts his backhand, Sinner finally gives up a forehand and it hangs a bit. Jodar absolutely crushes it for the winner. Great stuff. You’ll see these tactics at any competent level but the execution is so high and the margins are so slim.

  30. What a match! That was quality tennis for sure! Jódar has a bright future ahead of him, but Jannik Sinner has added so many variants to his game and so much consistency that he's showing why he's right now the best player in the world.

  33. I think Jodar's definitely got the potential to upset the current trend of the game if he works at it but come on, you just cannot unsee the resilience of Sinner, it puts everyone up against the ropes

  38. Jannik figured out half way how to make his opponent run for his money!!! He stopped playing his game and took control…what an absolutely amazing 'strategic' player he is….I love watching him He rises to the occasion the better the opponent the better Jannik becomes….BRILLIANT….

  41. Amazing. A perfect tie-break to beat a 19-year-old underdog and reach the semifinals in Madrid. Eleven months ago in Paris, however, he had a quite different… experience at the end of the fifth set. To my mind, Sinner hasn't quite mastered when to turn into a perfect machine and when to just stay human yet.
