Kai Trump has revealed that she required a steroid shot after attending the 2026 Masters, following a “scary” allergic reaction that flared up at Augusta National.

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter enjoyed a VIP experience at the Masters this year, rubbing shoulders with celebrities and golfing icons. Kai Trump captured content from the practice rounds before returning home to see out her senior year at high school.

Trump wrongly predicted that Bryson DeChambeau would triumph at the Masters, as the LIV Golf star failed to make the cut. While Trump enjoyed a lavish experience at Augusta National, she did suffer a medical emergency.

The 18-year-old has a popular YouTube channel with almost 1.5 million subscribers, and regularly posts vlogs of her unique lifestyle. In a recent video posted to her channel, which detailed preparations before attending her senior prom, Trump revealed her worrying allergic reaction at Augusta National.

“I was using hand soap on my face when I was at Augusta, to wash off my makeup, and I started getting these bumps on my neck,” she said. “I had to get a shot – a steroid shot.

“The needle was like this big,” she explained, while using her fingers to demonstrate the size of the probe. “Now, I don’t have a rash anymore.

“But I had an allergic reaction to the hand soap on my face. I have very sensitive skin. It was so, so scary,” she concluded.

Before suffering the medical emergency, Trump was asked by Mirror US Sports who would be wearing the Green Jacket on Masters Sunday. Before offering her verdict, she was seen chatting to her agent Brett Falkoff.

Both Trump and DeChambeau share the same agent, and the golfer is also a close friend of the Trump family. “I think Bryson,” Trump said to Mirror US Sports.

Unfortunately for DeChambeau, he suffered a meltdown on the 18th hole of Friday’s second round, which cost him a weekend spot. DeChambeau was 3-over heading into the 18th hole and below the cut line at 4-over, but hit a triple-bogey.

DeChambeau could have scraped through to the weekend action with a bogey, but the 18th hole was a disaster. His tee shot ended up in the pinestraw under a tree, and his next shot was hit too strongly as the ball rolled into the bunker by the green.

After attempting to chip the ball out of the bunker and onto the green, DeChambeau saw his ball roll back into the sand. DeChambeau then successfully chipped out of the bunker, but it was nowhere near the hole.

A deflated DeChambeau then two-putted to finish 6-over, and his 2026 Masters campaign ended instantly. It was the first time since 2023 that he missed the cut.
