Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump put their differences aside to celebrate daughter Kai’s prom, as the family navigates the fallout from Tiger Woods’ latest DUI arrest, which has led to staff dismissals.
Kai, 18, looked stunning in a floor-length red gown, her hair flowing down with a heart-shaped necklace completing the look. Both parents joined her for pre-prom photos alongside her friends. The teenager, set to attend the University of Miami on a golf scholarship later this year, recently made headlines after suffering an allergic reaction at the Masters.
Kai departed Augusta early to concentrate on her studies as her high school years drew to a close. Her Masters appearance and prom festivities come amid the controversy surrounding her mom Vanessa’s boyfriend Tiger Woods, who was arrested and charged with DUI last month.

The 15-time major champion faces misdemeanor charges of DUI and refusing to submit to a chemical or physical test after crashing his Land Rover on Jupiter Island, Florida. While Woods escaped physical injury, his reputation has taken a serious hit as the case heads to trial.
Sources close to the high-profile couple reveal the incident has strained Woods and Vanessa’s relationship. According to Page Six, the pair, who went public with their romance a year ago, have let go of members of their personal support staff amid concerns that private information is being leaked to the press.
An unnamed insider revealed: “It’s not a big staff. They’re paranoid of leaks, and she hates the press.” On Woods’ condition, the source indicated he is “doing well and is focused on getting better” following his arrival at the Swiss treatment center, while emphasizing the couple’s bond remains solid. The source noted: “They’re going strong and her kids love him.”, reports the Mirror US.
Meanwhile, Vanessa’s former spouse, Don. Jr., was present to celebrate Kai heading to her final prom. The pair beamed for the camera in cheerful snapshots together.

Vanessa also shared an affectionate photo with Kai. “Gorgeous, Kai, I’m so proud of you,” Vanessa wrote in the comments section of Kai’s Instagram upload.
Woods continues his rehabilitation after the DUI arrest, having sat out this year’s Masters—a tournament he’d planned to compete in, as he mentioned to authorities on scene. It would have marked another Woods resurgence after an extended absence due to surgical procedures.
Yet Woods declared his plans to take a break from professional golf after his arrest. “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods said.

Kai demonstrated her backing for her mom’s new partner by sporting some of his merchandise at Augusta. The teenager also made an appearance at TGL with mom Vanessa earlier this year.
