  3. Press F for the folks that made this league part of their personality due to politics.

Any players coming back to the tour now, should have to sit out the number of years left on their LIV contract minus any years of eligibility they may have, or have to work through the Korn Ferry without status. No monday qualifiers either.

I don’t even think they’ll make it to the end of this season. They’re going to abruptly pull the plug on this since the New Orleans tournament has already been “delayed.” The last LIV tournament likely has already been played

Personally, make them go play on the DP World Tour or go through Q School again to get the card the “normal” way. If they are as good as they were when they were on the PGA Tour, it should be easy for them no?

Brooks obviously knew this was coming, I don’t think its really fair to say that he did something other than out of necessity there.

Not a single thread about this in the LIV sub

PIF caught the PGA Tour with their pants down years ago, but the longer this dragged out it, and the PGA regained its footing, the outcome favored the Tour. Not surprising.

I’m sorry, his name is Hack?  And he decided to be a sports reporter?  Specifically a golf pundit??

No major TV contract, no pressure to win, no compelling stories about guys trying to get their cards. Basically a frat-boy league playing wholly uninteresting golf on resort courses with loud music and shitty team names, with a profound inability to create any tradition or compelling history.

It was a terrible concept from that start that was only able to exist due to very deep pockets that apparently didn’t care about making a profit or even breaking even until now. I’m amazed it lasted this long.

Liv was like the real life NWO. I thought it was entertaining to see the PGA get their panties in a bunch while Liv was poaching their biggest stars. But like NWO the gimmick wore off fast.

Uhhh…hey. Can I play with you guys? I’m back now. NO!!!

  16. Man everyone who is saying send the LIV guys to Q school is in for a rude awakening the tour already made Keopka the poster boy in their “Where the best belong” commercial. I don’t see any indication that the tour will do anything different for the top guys coming back.

Yeah, there will probably be some form of reprocusions for the top players coming back but that is mostly going to be behind the scenes with the other players. Rory will probably go off about it in a couple of interviews and then things will be business as usual.

Make all of them earn their tour card. Fuck Bryson fuck Rahm, Smith. I don’t want them taking a spot from someone who EARNED their tour card

  18. HombreDelMar247

Well the PGA will want Bryson and Rahm back ..but who much ared they willing to the punish them.

Brooksy and Reed clearly made the right call.
