Aries Spears returns to VladTV to break down a wide-ranging conversation covering comedy, celebrity culture, financial literacy, and controversial headlines.

Aries opens up about his recent sold-out show at the Novo Theater, where 1,400 fans packed the venue. He gives props to his opener Ryan Davis and recalls Andy Steinberg setting the tone with a memorable introduction.

The conversation shifts into Hollywood criticism, with Aries taking aim at Ice Cube following his Razzie win for War of the Worlds, questioning his acting range and consistency over the years.

They also react to viral street stories, including Gucci Mane’s robbery incident involving Pooh Shiesty, pointing out the growing trend of people incriminating themselves online. Aries and Vlad also discuss how the media covers crime differently depending on race, highlighting the lack of attention on Black serial killers compared to white ones.

The discussion turns to high-profile figures, including Tiger Woods and the financial consequences of his car crash, before diving into a controversial debate on blackface in comedy and where the line should be drawn in modern entertainment.

Later, Aries and Vlad address Sean “Diddy” Combs’s legal situation, including his appeal tied to a disputed violence charge. They also touch on viral rumors surrounding Diddy’s personal life and how scandals continue to shape public perception.

The conversation expands into finances, with Aries emphasizing the importance of financial literacy, warning against flashy spending habits. Floyd Mayweather is brought up as an example, with discussion of his reported $7.3 million IRS lien and long-standing concerns about spending versus investing.

They close by reflecting on the legacies of influential figures like Afrika Bambaataa and Jesse Jackson, acknowledging their impact while also addressing the controversies that surround them.

  1. Not saying you are a hater aries but ice cube killed it in Boyz in the hood. He had dramatic moments in that movie. That made him believeable . I will give you friday. That wasnt really acting. That was him chilling on the stoop on a normal day

  2. Aries makes good money touring, Vlad interviews should not be about money, but the publicity he gets from it, which leads to booking more gigs, where he can ask for a lot of money.

  3. Aries asked for raises atleast twice on camera mid interview.. and got cocky.. tk did the very right thing was super appreciative.. I do think aries should be let go… never bite the hand that feeds.. did it to himself

  4. There’s a theory that many black serial killers got away because white officers didn’t think they were smart enough to be like a white serial killer… think about that. Racism, huh? I’m tired of white people.

  5. All of this beefing is a great viral moment for both of them. But Trust me they will be back on down the line. They both need each other. Who else Vlad gona get, bum ass Charlton White!?

  6. I been a big fan of Aries since the madtv days but he has tendencies to burn bridges and I hope he mends this bridge but I actually fault him for this one. Glad not in the wrong at all on this.
