  1. At 19:59 it looked like a time extension was granted AFTER Gannon had exceeded his allotted time. If Ricky was on the same card, wouldn’t GB make a stink about the rules not being followed?

  2. Listen, I don't mind the new 2x time extensions. But is it fair to have a marshal on lead-card (or just a handful of cards) call players out?
Has it gotten to a point where it can be beneficial to be on second or third card – in avoiding having a official breathing down the players necks?

  3. Maybe it’s just from watching the sped up version on jomez, but in a hole 5 situation. Where you have sloped footing, up against a tree, and multiple lines to consider, why do we care if the time spent is productive. I don’t want the best player to get hurt becuase they were rushed. I also don’t want sloppy decision making. I DONT WANT 60 seconds of being scared to throw, or waiting on wind.

  4. Scratching your eye is so brutal every time you blink it burns keeping your eye open is irritating. But completely closing it also sucks..
Squinting is the best option actually but that's sucky for other reasons

  5. 13:50 some weird optical illusion on simons spike hyzer. it looks like it spikes into the earth then, at the speed of light, rockets out of the tombstone and vanishes. looks like a classic UFO video šŸ˜†

  6. hottake… i think if you have to have a time extension called FOR you by the official, it should take both of your time extensions away; if you call it yourself then you get 2. there should be an added penalty for being unaware and inconsiderate for the additional time youre taking. it should not be on the officials to call them for you.

  7. Gannon buhr 60 second shot resulted in the next throw taking 0 seconds… so if you average his time per threw he’s fine

I’m arguing against the rule not the call

  8. I think this is the one and single sport I literally want everyone to win. Not a single player that I have sour feelings toward. They are all just such nice people (or so it seems from my phone), I’d love to be able to play a round with all of them. They would also feel so good knowing how much better they are than me, I’d be a super ego booster. Even the worst of the players.

  9. best disc golf course I've played is Pier Park in Portland, OR. has everything you could ever want in a course. Super fun and technical but still allows for a huge swing in score based on skill.

  10. ā€œGiving him a time extension?ā€ Doesn’t the player ask for one while lining up a shot if they need more time? Why would someone approach a player unless they were giving them a time warning?

  11. 30:40 Paul talking about Gannon's 50% from circle 2, Big Jerm comparing it to Steph Curry… then Gannon proceeds to throw it in, looking away while the disc is still about 15 ft away from the pin. Good stuff.
