Johnny Miller explains why you want to have a level turn with your driver to ensure you have a much greater chance to hit the center of the clubface.

I grew up being taught to raise the heel of the front foot to get extra power….today NO ONE does that lol
I have followed golf since the 50's . Of course, everybody loved Arnie, and everyone admired Jack. My two personal favorites are Johnny Miller back in the day and Jordan Spieth. I believe if you could have put Johnny's complete mastery of his irons, and Jordan's putting, you might have had the perfect golfer. Johnny admitted that he was only an average putter. Jordan, during his top years seemed to make everything inside 25 ft. What a great scramble team they would have made.
Isn’t that what Bill Murray used as he bludgeoned all the flowers at Bushwood ??
OH, he gotta hold a that one…!! lol
I love Johnny but "turn level" I could never make sense of. Level to what? The ground? Your spine angle? When you say level exactly how am I suppose to physically see this in my mind?
That sickle swing, ticking the top of the tee, was the most amazing thing I've seen in golf.
really good but what does turn level mean everyone is looking for the secret. The only secret is a double pivot rotational swing is severely flawed by a mechanically to move a golf ball.
First i saw him with a hockey stick now its a sickle
