I wanted Ottawa to win of course, but let's face it: Ottawa was a team that struggled to make it into the playoffs; the Hurricanes never looked like they would miss it, and they were a constant contender for tops in the east. Predictable result aside from being a sweep. Ottawa can be say they unexpectedly made it into the playoffs, and just make sure they are back in there with a stronger team next year.

You didn't mention the uppercut from Greig. I hope player safety reviews this and gives him a suspension. It injured Walker.
For those who don't know, Walker and a Sens player were in a scrum. Walker was in a headlock and Greig looked around to see if he could deliver an uppercut and did it. No call because of Brady being a neanderthal at center ice.
Didn't really care for CTC standing on their feet cheering louder for the hit once it was clear Nikishin obviously unable to move and concussed

It’ll be interesting to see if Brady Tkachuk remains an Ottawa Senator. Rangers GM Drury has long coveted him and would be dumb enough to give up a ridiculous amount of young talent for him. I hope that never happens. Not because I don’t like Brady’s game. It’s just the Rangers already have some albatross contracts Zibanejad (33) and JT Miller (33) are owed till 2030. Adding Brady still doesn’t make the Rangers a Cup contender.
