This was a cracking match to be part of! What do you think of the tips Zane shared in this video?
Zane is a very down to earth young man. Obviously a very good player and appears to be a student of his craft, golf. Don't be to hard on yourself Alex, just as he said.
Top class you more than held your own wtg and good luck …play well
I remember Zane in the 90’s he was from woodcote park gc and came to Langley Park in Beckenham to play in the Perman shield as a junior/teenager .He was very impressive in those days too. Good guy great player
This wasn't that bad. You played decently and received deserved compliments from him. You must do MORE of these in the future! A lot of good stuff came out of this when the two of you were chatting about other pros he played with. Some interesting pearls of wisdom from his experience around key names in the game. A nice surprise video today……Thank you. 👍🍸🥃👏
Great video Alex, really enjoyed it. Thought you hit the ball well, and it looked a very stiff course. The tips were excellent as well. Thank you
Loving the name of Zane's podcast … and a really nice guy too
Great video ,
Tips from Zane especially the putting , playing draws and fades he makes it sound so easy.
He is definitely right Alex you are to hard on yourself.
I think you may have been a touch nervous as well. All good experiences which will see you through to open qualifying have faith and believe your a gifted player .be it live it love it 👍
Thanks for everything you do for all of us. Much appreciated!
Zane is a quality player just shows how good you need to be at tournament level.
I was close to unsubscribing when I saw that ai slop thumbnail
Sorry Alex but i fear you were playing Zane when its the course you should have been doing just my thoughts when i play its the course i concentrate on your a good player mate and just take care of your own game 😁
Alex, on teh first hole you were asking Zane how he determined playing distance & what to hit when there waas wind involved. The absolute BEST advice I've ever seen, and use myself, was Nick Faldo's advice on clubing yourself in the wind. First thing is to get your yardages, then throw some grass in the air. If the wind is downwind, watch where the grass lands and then step it ut from your ball to where it landed, then DEDUCT 2 yards for every step taken and reduce your yardages accordingly. Conversely if it's a headwind, follow the same procedure but ADD 4 yards for every step taken and then club yourself. Since using Sir Nick's method, I no longer have issues hitting the correct club when it's windy.
What a really nice guy Zane is, great video.
Hope you learnt something from being duffed up Alex
Zane has always swung it as good as the best . Great to seehim play again
