The impact issue seems obvious to me. The cameras are looking for a white dot hitting a white ball. If you spray white or put a large white sticker on there it going to confuse the cameras.
Regarding your carry distances, I thought they looked appropriate if you trust the ball speed. I’d guess you are swinging about 103-105 CHS and getting 150 ball speed. 250 carry is about optimal. You seem to be low spin, so I wouldn’t be surprised, if you use a GC3/4 that you get a Foresight “bonus” for being low spin.
The driver is selected during the indoor iron accuracy section. Could that impact the results you were seeing?
how would you compare the omni and the regular square for somebody who does not want to use it outside and use it only for a simulator?

Can you please compare this unit vs their original Square HE golf launcher to test distance accuracy of the original?
I tested the Omni at the PGA Show several months ago, and your results are proving what we saw there, this unit is very accurate for a fraction of the price of the other top camera units.

For the impact location test; use a Sharpie. Put a generous dot on the rear of the ball and it'll leave an imprint on the iron face. The stickers and spray are clearly disrupting what the cameras pick up

I'm curious to know if the stickers only work with their own design. On the current square I brought a roll of silver reflective tape which works great so would like to know if this will work on the Omni and if reflective dots brought elsewhere will work. Otherwise great vid n I'm on the first batch list so come on n ship!
How does this unit truly truly truly differ from the accuracy of the original square ? I don’t care about the outdoor indoor aspect I only care about have both of them side to side is the Omni for $1100 more truly more accurate then original square, yes or no? And is the accuracy different worth the price tag of $900+?

its automatically aligned you only need the alignment stick for offset alignment. aslong as the device is square up with your target it will be alligned
I'm still stuck between the Omni and Bushnell LPI with silver sub. Will be for indoor use only and no gspro. Hmmmmmmm
