1:2845 that was the worst take i've ever heard in the F1 community, it's a political blunder to ignore that the east coast of your nation is getting shelled by drones in a hourly basis while spending millions (if not billions) to host a race with a massive amount of air and naval traffic plus massive logistical lines dragged across your territory because "the other side is intact!!!!" not only that but as you've mentioned drone strikes took place a few years back, can't you see how's that a massive opportunity to blackmail saudi arabia or any other gulf nation into bombing such a massive event (causing national unrest and worldwide lawsuits).
The races were cancelled for good….
