  1. Bryson isn't interesting in growing the game, he's interested in growing his bank balance, maybe his subscriber and view counts on his YT channel (which also happens to grow his bank balance if it were to happen) but he doesn't care about the game. If he did he'd not have gone to LIV in the first place. Him complaining about the condition of the course and then not playing just shows how big a d*ck he really is. Entertaining to watch on YT but not much more.

  2. the last people to know they are shutting down are the employees, telling mexico, see you next year does not mean shit, if they leave every event like is is a goodbye tour that undermines the current plan which is likely to squeeze every possible nickle out of this final season, yes final season,,, read a tea leaf buddy

  3. It felt like a coordinated attack from the liv haters ! They all had a go at them at the same time and used a rumour to attack liv once again and the MSN was happy to join because they need liv to die and all the players deserve punishment because they went against the pgat

  4. All this makes Koepka look like a genius. For Cam Smith’s wallet hopefully his new contract check doesn’t bounce but really I could give two shits. They all make more in one year than MOST Americans make in 35 so no whiny tears from me for any on LIV or PGA. But at least on PGA you make the cut or go home and learn to play better

  5. Bryson's youtube channel is more valuable than potentially anything else in the LIV portfolio. I think he might be overvaluing that by a long shot, be his viewing and sponsorship potential through that media is huge. IMO, he's making a business decision to pricing himself out of contracts to do what he wants to do by his rules.

  6. Jesus Matt,

You are a sucker. They can't afford the current players….but need the current players to raise money….and they do not make a profit. NO ONE WATCHES THIS STUPID LEAGUE.

You are a sucker. They are doing failed start-up cope, where you fake it hoping somehow you can make it.

  7. More like LIV is leaving Bryson…… More and more is coming out. LIV is done. Losing 100 mill a month isn't even sustainable by the saudis. And he's not getting 500 mill. They can no longer afford that. They whitewashed enough and it failed. If they went to LIV and want to play in the PGA again, they have to start at the bottom. SORRY. It is what it is. Make a tour qualifier and get back to the top. A LIV golf franchise is such a joke. They lose billions a year in this racket. There's no reason to buy into a pyramid scheme with a golf face on it.

  8. LIV had a path but it was never a 54 hole shotgun start tournament. They should have always been 72 hole traditional but playing internationally in places like Australia, South Africa, Asia and the Middle East. If they had started that way it would have worked but they didn’t and it won’t work now, it’s too late. Another bad move was that goofy Saudi guy who wanted to be at the head of the golf table and he didn’t deserve it. During the PGA/LIVE negotiations he always saw himself as one of the co-commissioners and that was laughable. He hasn’t earned it and doesn’t deserve it. Hence LIV is dead.

  9. If LIV loses its stars, it’s over. Nobody will be interested and you won’t get investment. Without the easy money from the Saudi fund, it’s going to be too hard to keep it going . If the Saudis with massively deep pockets know it’s no longer worthy of their investment, then why should anyone else dive in.

  10. $500m is cool but 1) Without MBS involved no one is getting $500m to play next year, Woods, Scottie, Rory, no one is getting paid $500m without full Saudi backing. 2) Is it really smart to resign for another couple years then have the next biggest draw (Jon Rahm) not resign next year? Now you're the ONLY draw to a dying golf tour. Honestly if I was Bryson I would just drop out now and start my 1 year ban today. Sure the CEO of LIV says they have "backers" waiting in the wings but no one, I repeat, no one has the kind of fuck you money that MBS has and even if they do…they aren't spending it on LIV golf.

  11. What do you all think about if Bryson leaves LIV but instead of joining the PGA he goes into YouTube golf like Grant Horvat and only does the main big tournaments? I just want to hear others opinions because some are saying that he will leave LIV and return to PGA which I don’t mind but I personally think he is trying to grow the game for the younger generation on YouTube. That’s why his videos are more on the entertainment side. I know there will always be haters for Bryson and there will always be lovers for Bryson but at the end of the day, it’s all up to Bryson to decide what he wants to do. We can’t just go by speculation that he will leave LIV and join the PGA or that LIV will end in the next few years, I’m not on either side, all I care about is if Bryson is doing what he wants and likes to do. We got to respect a persons life which i rarely see now. People love to hate because it’s easy and the more famous they are, the easy it is the hate on them for something. You got to realize that everyone has there own lives to live and also I want to add that people have been talking about Bryson being different on camera compared to being off camera but doesn’t EVERYONE do that? (To a degree). I know that for the most recent LIV event he looked disappointed or upset but that’s because he expected to play good at the masters but he played bad which is a really hard thing to get over mentally. Similar to Jordan Spieth when he had a breakdown on the hardest part 3. He got like a 8-9 on that hole and was never really that same. I know that’s much different comparison but Bryson getting multiple bogeys doubles and even a few triples (I think) at the masters would make any one feel terrible. I know that myself because I play golf a lot and when I have a bad day I get disappointed at myself but for a pro it’s a lot worse because they are expected to play good but when they don’t they get even more upset with themselves. Basically all I’m trying to say is that Bryson has not been himself the past few weeks and that’s just because of what happened at the masters and also his golf game has been worse. I know that Bryson is the most famous golfer in the world right now and I think it’s great what he is trying to do for the sport on YouTube and on LIV even if you hate him or not. I know that no matter what he decides there will always be fans watching him and cheering for him no matter what. I didn’t realize how much I wrote… this is my opinion on the Bryson situation.

  12. IF Bryson leaves LIV, they are in trouble. They aren't that deep in top end headliner talent and losing another big name is certainly going to hurt the product. It is what it is.

  13. MSG it’s the first time you and I are on the same page, Bryson has a very successful YouTube channel and from memory didn’t Jon Rahm get $500m. My view is LIV has to give him a bumper contract or he leaves.

  14. Matt, your comment about Bryson really wanting to grow the game and why is he asking for 500 million. There’s a different way to look at it. He does really love growing the game but playing professional Golf takes him away from that. So if you’re going to take me away from doing what I really love, it’s going to cost you $500 million.

  15. I think the most important point is that 99% of golfers could care less about what happens to LIV because it’s unwatchable with no relevance to any thing that we want to see in golf. Please don’t constantly repeat the lie of players saying “I want to grow golf”!!!!!!!

  16. I bet Bryson takes his YouTube channel to Netflix or one of the other streamers. Then he’ll go back to PGA. The streamers are scoping up popular channels and podcasts. It’s the future

  17. Who cares. He's the modern day John Daly. But instead of alcohol, it's greed. Win a couple majors and miss a truck load of cuts. And think you're way way way way better than you actually are. Dude's fake.

  18. Paying 500 million for a guy who missed masters cut is stupid this guy is no longer the long ball hitter he once was there are 10 guys who can knock it by him regullarly

  19. I’m not sure how much Bryson makes from YouTube but it definitely sounds like the funding for LIV is done so he won’t get some huge contract from them. Since he skipped out on his chance to,come back to the PGA I don’t think they will make it easy for him to come back. Things may change but he might just have to stick with YouTube for awhile.

  20. I’m an example of the game growing because of LIV and players like Bryson. I’m heading to Korea again from Australia to watch Liv.. I also watch some of the pgat events, but cannot stand the Liv haters
