I'm looking to set up a dream golf sim in my garage but I'm unsure what to get would I be correct in saying this is all I need for a good budget setup or is there better options out there? I was considering getting the garmin r10 I know it's cheaper but is the rapsodo better? Then once i set up and install these how do I get it so I can see the range on the screen and can I play courses or are they only for more expensive options ?

I had the r10 and it’s solid just struggles to pick up short shots where the club speed isn’t very high and doesn’t calculate side spin very well. But make sure that projector fits your space and has a decent throw ratio for your area. It also looks like you only have a screen and not an enclosure unless you’re doing a diy enclosure to hang the screen. But if you have an iPad or iPhone you can airplay it to a Roku or something similar connected to the projector and that project on your screen. Hopefully this helps
In the process of piecing together my garage set up as well. From what I’ve read, a good hitting strip is highly recommended. I plan on buying a stance mat and then cutting out the shape of the hitting strip to place it in. Im looking at the beaver tail or the sigpro.
As for the LM, I see conflicting things on the R10 but haven’t personally used it. My FiL has the MLM2 and it’s nice, but the subscriptions turn me off to it. I think I plan on going with the square since I only plan on using it at home.
For the range/course, I believe both garmin and rapsodo have some native options, but I also see lots of people us Gspro.
Maybe something for the top and sides of the screen to ensure no rogue balls go around the screen and bounce around? An enclosure essentially.
These are the things that first come to mind, but I’m still in the research phase of my build so I’m no expert.
