Under the Umbrellas | Rafael Nadal

Welcome to Under the Umbrellas, a daily conversational series diving into the Tournament’s iconic traditions, style and culture with host Kira K. Dixon.

In this episode, professional tennis player Rafael Nadal shares his love for the game of golf, his career in professional tennis and the Masters Tournament.

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. Love Rafa and miss his tennis so much but ttly happy to see him enjoy doing other things.

  2. I miss seeing the great man on the tennis court. Wonderful to see him content and happy in his post tennis life.

  3. A lifelong Federer fan from the beginning and admittedly despised Nadal, because for a long time, he was Roger's nemesis. However, nothing but admiration for this man. The epitome of modesty and class. A warrior on the court, but incredibly classy and polite off the court. You can see that this man was raised well!

  4. What a fun surprise. There will never be another Rafa. I loved hearing him talk about all the various topics. Thank you for doing this interview. Kinda made my day. I will always love Rafa and consider him the greatest.
