STOP IT NOW! Never slice driver again with this simple golf swing to ensure the path of the golf club is moving right of where the club face is aiming.
This swing is the best and easiest to adopt reducing pressure on the body from an open stance while allowing it to open up through impact as the clubhead travels on an in-to-out swingpath.
No more sliced tee shots, no more worries.

For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve’s EUREKA GOLF SWING METHOD is now being implemented in 62 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the “iron swing series” offering the set-up of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, “There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left”.

This is so brilliant, bravo.
Love it Steve. Could you comment roughly where the ball position is relative to centre please? thanks again…
What grip are you using?? Neutral??
That has to do with something that feels good for your body. Swinging out to the right to get a draw while your feet are in an open stance is super difficult to do, most people will follow through even more out to in and worsen their slice.
An easier way is to pull your trail foot back, to create a natural in to out path for a draw. There’s way less complications than this set up
A version of channel lock
It seems to me that when you open your set up, you are effectively moving the ball back in your stance, which makes it more difficult to strike the ball on an upward trajectory.
@stevejohenstongolf when you want to play a fade, your sensation in your club path is across the feet line with a little bit face open ? Thank you 🙂
Well, I’m off to the range this morning so I’ll give it a whirl
I find a very closed stance helps me. Golf is a mad sport.
Easy in theory, but so difficult in practice for me. Hit the ball with closed face or push to the right…to far from the ball.
Very nice
Good one, sir.
I was doing this 3 weeks ago, except the ball was very far forward, probably 3 inches to the left of my left foot, & I was BOMBING the ball, 280 to 320, and I'm 64
Helps with back issues too..ala Fred Couples
Hey Steve, I have a series on the open stance and I watched this video but for the life of me I can't draw the ball. I'm either hitting it relatively straight or slicing off to the right any suggestions? Thanks.
Steve, on the driver is ball position still off left foot or a tad back!
Gonna try this
Golf game has gone for shit
Been doing opposite with back foot back and I’m worse than ever.
Neutral/ strong/ grip?
Thanks
I hate that your videos don't show up on my home page.
Hello sir. I tried almost all tips to correct my slice since 5years but this tip is working for me except that now ball goes to left . can you make part 2 of this video to show how to hit straight shots. May be my feet line is more left??
Great video. I have been working on my swing in the off season and started using the open stance.
It works really, really well. Here’s why:
With the stance open, it is easier to load weight on the trail side in the backswing. The hip turn is slightly restricted, but when you get to the top of the back swing, you almost can’t help but to have your weight on the trail foot.
When you start to transition, because of the open stance, you also have to shift your weight to the front foot. Otherwise you won’t even really be able to swing the club. The open stance basically makes weight transfer automatic.
Beyond that, with the open stance you get plenty of room to clear the hips through the swing. Whereas the hip turn on the way back is restricted, the hip turn during the downswing and delivery is almost unlimited.
When you factor the weight shift and hip turn, those are the keys to power.
If you know you have a good swing path and mechanics, but still find yourself getting stuck, drop kicking driver shots, hitting irons fat, chunking wedges, etc., try opening your stance.
I opened mine until I found I could no longer keep my shoulders aligned with the target line and was hitting big banana balls. I then closed up a bit to where my setup feels comfortable. My feet are about 10-15 degrees open, my shoulders and hips both start on the target line, I swing the club in to out and am hitting the ball extremely well.
Give it whirl. You may just find yourself making that one small adjustment, and playing great golf.
Best one yet Steve! Many thanks!!
