Vice Tour Golf Ball Review | Featuring the Limited Edition Sketch Model

We’re taking a fresh look at the Vice Tour golf ball in this video, a truly under-talked about option in the Vice lineup. Despite often being overlooked, recent robotic testing from 2025 showed that this golf ball has significant promise, especially with drivers. We dive into a full golf ball review, including chipping results and pitching wedge performance, examining ball speed, club speed, and spin RPM to give you a complete product review on this often forgotten golf equipment.

In today’s video, we’re taking a deep dive into the Vice Tour Golf Ball, but not just any version — the eye-catching Sketch Limited Edition. This is one of the most unique designs Vice has ever released, but the big question is… does it actually perform, or is it just for looks?

The Vice Tour Limited Edition Sketch Golf Balls brings a bold, hand-drawn style to the course that’s impossible to miss. But underneath that creative design, you’re still getting the core DNA of the Vice Tour — a 3-piece construction built for a balance of distance, durability, and all-around performance.

With a Surlyn cover and mid-level compression, this ball is designed to deliver solid ball speed off the tee, controlled spin into the greens, and a softer feel than most budget-friendly options. The 312 dimple pattern also helps keep flight stable and consistent, even when conditions aren’t perfect.

But how does it actually hold up on the course?
In this review, I put the Sketch edition through my full testing process — covering:

• Driver distance & ball speed
• Iron consistency & dispersion
• Wedge spin and short game control
• Feel off the putter
• Durability after real play

And of course… we’ll talk about whether that wild design actually helps with visibility and alignment or if it’s just a gimmick.

Vice has built a reputation for delivering premium-style performance at a more affordable price, and the Tour model sits right in that sweet spot for golfers who want performance without paying tour-ball prices.

If you’re looking for a ball that stands out in your bag and on the course, this might be one worth checking

  1. I just started playing this ball. Even the same model. I really like it especially because I needed my driver straighter and more penetrating, and I need less spin on most shots. The loss in spin hasn't been much of an issue — and I frequent a course with fast, hard greens and I can't generate enough spin as is on them. Quite durable, with a great price. What a timely review! I plan to switch to this ball for the season. For reference I usually play Maxfli Tour X or Vice Pro Plus.

  2. Can’t help but think the Legato LTX3085 and Wilson Triad look like better options for a lot in this price bracket! Hoping your “nemesis” the AVX, 2026 model, maybe redeems your faith shortly! I’ve just bought a dozen to try! LOVE the Honma cap!

  3. I wouldn't go so far as to call this enshitification, but it might just be a product of increasing costs and tariffs causing a reduction in quality to stay profitable.

  4. I mentioned on a different video before that this ball replaced the trifli for me. Playing the previous generation purchased off of Amazon. I got pretty decent spin from a soft pitching wedge around 120 yards. I'm a high handicap with around 100 mph driver speed

  5. I’m one of those that has commented about my observations regarding the worsening performance of the Vice balls. It is truly disappointing. Perhaps they should have named the line Virtue, instead of Vice…

  6. Nick, I really want to stay with one ball this year, I can't spend more then 250 snow pesos for 6 boxes but I would spend that for the right ball. I was around a 15 hcp at the end of last season hitting my driver around 220 yards. What would your go to ball be? Thanks
