Yesterday was the first practice session in about a week (with a round at Flip City and WSCC between). Today I braved the hot weather again and focused on pulling back farther to coil my hips more. It changes my timing, and you’ll see in the first five throws of this clip (at about the fifth time I emptied my bag of 20 putters) I’m still working on it…then it clicked and I got the top of the basket from 200′ away with my trusty and beloved Opto Mercies. (Mercys? How do you spell the plural of that proper noun?).
1st throw is with my main putting putter, a 1.5 year old 175 XT Aviar that glides slowly to 200′ usually when I throw it right. Anything bad in the form is magnified, so those are good for practice.
2nd awful throw where my brain shut off halfway through the delivery was with a Fierce. Not the Fierce’s fault! I normally get it to flip up and turn right.
3rd is a Fuzion Burst Deputy I dyed. Overcompensated for the last throw on the timing.
4th and 5th are with Fuzion Wardens I dyed. When I said “no elbow” it’s because I didn’t feel or remember the power pocket at all.
Last two were the Opto Mercies/Mercys I dyed. They fit in my hand so well and feel great. I have one more blank one to dye…
