  1. As always thanks for your videos!! I also have an SL8 and I’m pretty happy with it. Thinking about buying a Darimo 0 offset seatpost. What is your experience with the 0 offset seatpost? Is it as comfortable as the original S- Works seatpost with 15 offset? Regards from Spain 🤙🏼

  3. I kanda agree with you. Since I get into Specialized bikes, I had 4 different ones, I owned an Alley P.Sagan Edition, a Roubaix and I wanted a very good climbing bike so I bought an Aethos, when they lunched the SL8 I say this is the bike to buy it will do all and it does delivery, for me this is the best bike than ever have before, the bike is lightweight to climb, very aero, incredibly responsive when you need it and comfortable, I’m using it with low profile wheels 35mm and it weight 14.5lb same version like your

  4. I was going to wait for the SL9, because I wanted to run sram transmission (assuming SL9 gets UDH), but I read that sram say transmission doesn't work with chainstays under 425mm.. so if you ride 56cm frame then the tarmac is going to be under that minimum.. I really wanted a 1x mullet (50t with 10-52) with transmission. But now I think why not just get an SL8 and do it with the older AXS, would probably be a bit cheaper anyway, but I just love the look of transmission.. the flat top chain, the awesome derailleur design..

  5. GC, do you think there's any performance difference between the S-Works frame and the Pro frame besides the 100g weight difference – like, is there anything else I'm getting for spending more on the S-Works frame rather than the pro one?

    Thanks!

  6. Coming off the SL6 SWorks, my SL8 Pro is the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden. I test rode an Aethos first and was blown away by it until I test rode the SL8 the following weekend. Such an awesome bike.

  7. Hi, been looking for a Specialized Tarmac SL8 Pro, and decided to go for it, but the sizes confuses me, i'm 178 cm/ 5'10 and seat height 77 cm
Specialized says 56, others tell me to go for 54. Soon turning 60 years old and not the most flexible guy in 🇧🇻 thx for informative videos 👍🚴

  8. Hello GC Performance, I hope this message reaches you. The seat post and handlebars appear to be third-party products. Could you let me know which products they are? Thank you.

  9. Hi, I'm looking at this bike (tarmac sl8 expert) and the Cervelo caledonia 5. Can you recommend which bike might be better? I'm not looking to race but I want to buy something that I can ride comfortably and also be fast on the climbs and flats.

  10. I've been very pleased with mine. I was thinking I would go for an aero-thoroughbred (Giant propel, Canyon Aeroad, Cervelo S5 etc.), but thought long and hard about the kind of riding I do, and the kind of roads this is on > which is by and large terrible road surfaces on undulating lanes in the UK. The compliance / comfort has been very noticeable in these circumstances
