Vessel Lux Stand DXR Golf Bag Review
The Vessel Lux Stand DXR is unlike any bag I’ve tested. I just spent six weeks with it, and let me tell you, this thing is in a completely different league.
I mean, this thing is an absolute beast. I took it to Scottsdale where we had 30 mph gusts, and it never wobbled. It weighs 4.95 lbs, it’s got 14 pockets, carbon fiber legs, and this DXR nylon is practically indestructible. After all that abuse, I didn’t find a single scuff. It’s honestly the most stable, well-designed stand bag I’ve ever tested. My back thanked me after 18 holes.
But here’s the catch. First, the price. At $399, it’s a serious investment. And for that price, I was pretty shocked to find out it’s only weather-resistant, not fully waterproof. For golfers who play in the rain a lot, that could be a deal-breaker.
All in all, I’d say it’s ridiculously good, but with that one small catch. If you’re a serious walker who demands the best and you don’t play in downpours, this is the bag for you. But if you need 100% waterproof, this might not be your bag.
