It’s a competition of speed, and fitting, as Team TaylorMade takes their new Qi4D drivers and puts it to the test in this Fastest 4D challenge.

Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Nelly Korda, Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa, Charley Hull and Brooke Henderson all are tasked with seeing who can gain the most carry distance after hitting a driver that’s not optimized for their swings.

After laying down a baseline number in Round 1, each player gets to make one fitting change in an attempt to improve their carry distance.

After each round, more players are eliminated and more fitting changes are allowed.

Watch until the end to see who comes out on top!

  1. These videos are always very awkward and forced as the players obviously don't want to be there and don't particularly like each other.

  2. Rory: Give me my Qi10 gamer and I’ll smoke one 345 yards. 😂

It is funny how corporate still has not figured out branding contracts in 2026. Hey TM, I do consulting.

Today’s message, “fitting is so important”, unless you are a sponsored pro, then you must swing the latest driver every year.

  3. No idea what's going on. Just giving top players random clubs and seeing what happens? Zero entertainment.

  4. Golfers with higher clubhead speed can optimize distance by lowering loft and using a stiffer shaft to reduce backspin.
Looking at the players in this test, they all showed a consistent drop in spin—from the 3000s down to the 2000s—after the equipment change.

  5. Launch monitors are suspicious , Rory launched the first drive at almost 16 degrees with 4000 spin basically … and somehow it calculated it would still roll out 11 yards ……
Then nelly hits one at 10 degrees with 2600 launch and with good speed , and it also rolls out 11 yards ….
If you launch a ball at 15.7 degrees and with almost 4000 rpm of spin , the ball shouldn’t go anywhere unless the fairways are concrete and if that was still rolling out 11 yards then nellys should’ve rolled out 20+

  6. Did changing the loft mean delofting the standard angle or changing the driver head entirely to a new angle?

  7. Prime content for real golfers! Shouldn't have been an elimination challenge though. All the guys have different shot styles, and I'd have wished to see the evolution to their current standard numbers.

  8. When elite players combine speed, precision and the right fitting, the difference is impossible to ignore.

  9. They shouldn't have been told the rules before their first shots. They all just held back after that.

  10. I mean it's so nerdy and i'm sure the players all LOVE this. But i personally just wanna see some trickshots 😭

  11. So with the assist of TM fitting 2 of the 3 finalists went backwards? Ok Ok. Great promo. lol.

  12. You could give all of those players a hockey stick, they would all hit the golf ball further than I could, with my driver. Enjoyable to see that
they all know their way around a fitting. Thanks for taking the time, enjoyed watching.
