The first WCW PPV that my brother and I went to see at the United Center. At that time I was disconnected from watching Nitro and Thunder on cable but still watched WCW Worldwide on Saturday nights. A postcard about the event was mailed to my house and I watched Mancow TV when it came to Jimmy Hart beating up the cow at Q101 radio station. What epic time that was even though the PPV stunk on some matches but worthy of seeing the top stars on the card in person.
I know why it happened, but man it must of been so uncomfortable for Ric Flair having to wrestle in his street clothes during the Russo era.

I enjoyed this ppv, it's just so chaotic from start to finish but that mancow v Jimmy hart match is piss break material, best part of that was the post match 🤣 This was a proper Russo style ppv, absurdity with the guns being drawn on Hogan, a decent match in the main event with Mark Madden dropping the line of the night 'bada bing bada boom bada…eeeuurggh' 😂
Same old shit back in 2000 after Russo and Bisch took over. First PPV of the "new era" and I don't see how they thought even back then that this would turn things around.
