FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – On April 13, 1997, Tiger Woods won his first Masters at age 21.
Woods set the record for the youngest Masters champion. He was the first Black or Asian person to win the title.
Woods has gone on to win a total of five Masters. He was notably absent from this year’s tournament amid renewed personal turmoil.
