  1. No one has put one in the water at 12 on Sunday and gone on to win. Same is true of 17 at TPC Sawgrass. So hit that 9 iron pure on Sunday or you’ll be playing for second place.

  2. was a giant Greg Norman THE SHARK fan during his career and his masters showing was soooo sad and madding. was a city kid wearing his shark gear getting teased cause it wasnt what was in style…..

  3. I love Bryson but that par 67 comment was unhinged… if the longest driver did the best at Augusta Jon Daly would have won at least one…
Its more of a course that rewards finding fairways and hitting good approaches.. because the rough the trees and pine straw the water and long putts will absolutely tank your round

  4. I walked with Ernie Els at Oakmont in 1994. If someone would have told me then that he would NEVER win The Masters, I would have laughed and even put 1K on it. Big bucks back in 94 🤣

  5. Ballesteros at the 1986 masters came to mind for me. That shot on the 15th that didn't get half way across Ray's creek. He had 200 to go or something. I bet he didn't hit it 175. You couldn't even hit a shot that bad with modern clubs. You could do it back then though.

  6. A lot of these clips are really random and way too many cuts. If dodging copyright is the reasoning I would've preferred still photos of the actual events of what's being described

  7. If he could actually match his commentary to the video, it might be interesting. But probably not. His commentary is crap regardless. Find some other career pal. YT is not for you.

  8. It would be nice if you would match the narration with the video. You talk about Curtis Strange hitting into Rae;s Creek on 13, while you show him hitting his 2nd shot on 15. Come on… you can do better.

  9. No one has "ruined" the Masters. The golf course, Augusta National Golf Course, may have ruined some golf games of some of the pros who failed to conquer it, certainly that's true, but the Masters is played on a course that extremely is difficult, but is also fair. By that, I mean you can score well if, and only if, you put the ball where it needs to be, most of the time. If not, you will face disaster. But these pros are the best players in the world, so they should be able to succeed on this course, plus with the money that's at stake, they are not going to be asked to compete on a pitch and putt golf course, either.

  10. Augusta National has to be the most overrated golf course by a country mile. It's basically a putting contest, on greens that are so fast that it's like putting on the oiled hood of a '57 Chevy. A 30-foot putt that goes 10 ft. past the hole when it is only touched in the barest way? Traditions are great – see the Indy 500 prerace ceremonies – but so much of Augusta tradition is just nonsensical. If you win you get a green jacket, but you can't really wear it anywhere. You get a trophy, but you don't get to keep it. So many of these so-called "traditions" depend on a course that' s a cakewalk without the superfast greens. OK, the big boys love it, and they tolerate all of this nonsense because they get the big bucks. If you want to see REAL tradition, go to the British Open. It's always played on an actual golf course, not an over manicured TV extravaganza. Who cares?
