Gary Player was golf’s first globe-trotting superstar and likes to boast he’s the most traveled human in the world. But what’s it like to actually fly with a 9-time major champion? We hopped on his private jet en route to the Masters to talk about life, golf, Augusta National and more.

  1. I WANNA KNOW WHAT GARY SAYS TO WAYNE BEFORE HE BOARDS THE PLANE AND THEN ARRIVES AT AUGUST!!! Listen boy…be on your best behavior god damnit!!

  2. Shockingly selfish, flying in a private jet with every other seat completely empty. All while destroying the climate.

  3. His spirit and “high on life” energy, especially at his age now, has always amazed me. I can’t imagine losing your wife of 70 years and still going on chipper and doing all the same stuff. There’s so much I envy about Mr. Player.

  4. Great video! Gary Player is a gift to humanity, learn by his example, he is not perfect but better than most! Short in stature but powerful enough in determination to overcome most obstacles in golf and life!

  5. “ Life is the greatest gift bestowed upon Man or Woman “. True words Gary, true words

  6. I'm reminded of the sad loss of Payne Stewart. Still very much in his prime, taken from the sport too soon…also in a private plane.

  7. I hope Gary sees this comment. I was a very good golfer. A real nice swing. I shot around par. Now, you might think, that there would be a 2-stroke difference between me and Gary. But there was really a 10 stroke difference. I will tell you why. Gary's clutch short game. If I was allowed to play the first 2 shots on each hole, and Gary could finish each hole, Gary would shoot a 65. If Gary was allowed to hit the first two shots and I finished up for him, I would shoot a 75. That's the difference between an amateur who can really strike the ball, well and a pro like Gary, who can play all 72
